FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — A Franklin County deputy is doing his best to bless others in the community by helping those in need.

Corporal Mason Berry found a man named Christian, who was fleeing the Louisiana flooding to visit his brother in Colorado, along Highway 64 west of Ozark. He helped him get to the state line, and also sent him off with a blessing bag filled with food, cash, and personal hygiene products.

Berry and his wife, Heather, and mother, Tanya, assemble the blessing bags to give to those in need.

He said it’s a way for him to let people know that someone cares.
