VAN BUREN (KFSM) — An investigation into thousands of dollars in stolen equipment and trailers ended with the arrest of a 30-year-old man.

Joseph Alexander Robinson was taken into custody by the Van Buren Police Department on suspicion of several theft and burglary charges.

Police arrested Robinson as part of an investigation that found stolen trailers, a John Deere tractor, a Polaris Side By Side and a zero-turn mower.

Law enforcement stated that searches for missing items will continue, and the amount of stolen items recovered is worth approximately $150,000.

Assisting agencies included the Fort Smith Police Department, Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, Spiro Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Barling Police Department, Oklahoma Drug Task Force, Haskell County Assistant District Attorney Tim Turner, and the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, a media release stated.
