Fayetteville Police Investigate Explosion At Car Shop

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Police are investigating after an explosion occurred Friday morning (Sept. 2) in Fayetteville.

Dispatches said it happened at Superior Industries inside a paint room around 6:40 a.m. Superior Industries is North America’s largest aluminum wheel manufacturer, according to their website.

Fayetteville Police tell us that no one was injured.

Crews were on the scene to clean up the debris. Dispatchers said police are not sure how the explosion happened and are still investigating.
