Man In Critical Condition After Suspect Arrested On Attempted Murder Charge

JOHNSON COUNTY (KFSM) — Two victims were hospitalized after they were shot on Thursday evening (Sept. 1) during an altercation.

One of the victims, a male, was said to be in critical condition to UAMS in Little Rock. A female victim was taken to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville with non-life threatening injuries.

Samuel Love, 33, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault, and was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center with bond.

Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff Department were dispatched to a shots fired call at an address on County Road 1678 in Knoxville. Deputies arrived on scene and located the three subjects.

The sheriff’s office stated the case was under investigation and additional information would be released as soon as it is made available.
