Expect areas of locally dense fog early in the day on Saturday with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. The first part of the day should be rain free.

Sometime towards late afternoon, we’ll see scattered showers develop in Oklahoma and move east into our area with rain in the area a few hours on either side of sunset. The overall amount of rainfall will less than the round of rain which occurred on Friday evening.

Forecast data from 6-7pm shows rain moving into the area from the west.

From 8-9pm, we’ll have the possibility for light to moderate rain across NW Arkansas. Coverage is expected to remain minimal with the greater areas of showers and stronger thunderstorms developing in central and south Arkansas.

It probably wouldn’t hurt to bring a poncho to the game, if you wanted to roll the dice… I don’t think you’ll be looking at a nonstop rain event. You might get a brief shower and have to move under the stands for a few minutes.

As the evening progresses expect fewer showers and drier weather.
