This is the trough which will eventually dig across the central and southern plains with a large area of rain along and ahead of the front.
The heaviest rain will fall across Oklahoma but accumulated rain totals in Arkansas could be in the 1-2″ range. The slow moving nature of the front will cause some heavy downpours in spots which could lead to some isolated areas of flash flooding.
The rain will be good for those of you suffering from Allergies which are very high across our area this week.

Daylight will be fading fast in the coming months with around 12hours of daylight and darkness now. By December, we’ll have just over 9 hours of daylight and much earlier sunsets.
We Fall-Back an hour on November 6th for Daylight Saving Time. This is two days before the General Election.
