VAN BUREN (KFSM) – Fall is here and it’s always welcomed by the annual Fall Festival in Van Buren. The historic Main Street will be turned into a festival of vendors, carnival rides, and live entertainment for the next three days. All the festivities start up on Friday (Oct.7).

Hundreds of vendors will line the streets selling all kind of homemade arts and crafts, antiques, and food. Live music will be a show stopper as well and will take place at the outdoor stage near the train depot. Of course, all of the carnival rides will be in two nearby parking lots. Armbands will be available to purchase for $20 each so you can ride the rides an unlimited number of times.

For the first time ever during the Fall Festival, there will be a steak cook off on Saturday (Oct.8).

Organizers of this event said they’re expecting a large turnout this year. “It’s grown every year so we’re looking forward for everyone to come out,” said Lonnie London.

The event is free and kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night. The festival will continue Saturday (Oct.8) morning starting 9:00 a.m. then will wrap up on Sunday (Oct.9).
