FORT SMITH (KFSM)-The Lady Lions started off the fall campaign with an uncharacteristic five-match losing streak, but they have put that behind them marching through the season now bolstering an eight-game win streak.

"Whenever you lose it kind of shows what kind of character you have," said senior Emily Tripp. "We definitely learned a lot about ourselves we had some newcomers coming in."
The seniors are major contributors to the team's success. Outside hitter Kennedi Coleman leads the Lions in kills with 232. Fellow senior libero Emily Tripp not only leads the Lady Lions in digs, but she is number-two in the nation in for digs per set.
"We always tell each other I have her front and she has my back," said Coleman. "So if she keeps getting those digs I keep getting those kills for her. it's a blessing to have her back there."

The Lady Lions will play Harding on October 11th at 6:00 p.m.
