Swimmer Drones In The Body

We're all familiar with drones in the sky, but there could be tiny drones in the human body soon.

A scientist is working to develop a drone that can travel through the blood stream with other fluids in the body. The swimmer drone would be used to provide more precise bio-imaging, as well as deliver a drug to a specific target like a cancer or tumor.

What happens to the drone after it has done its job? The doctor says it would be bio-degradable and dissolve in the body.
