SILOAM SPRINGS (KFSM) -- Ninety-three-year-old Mary Lou Williams spends her weekends in October listening to people scream.

"I can't understand people that get so scared and then want to come to a haunted house," she joked.

And Williams has a hand in the screaming that comes from the Warehouse of Fear in Siloam Springs where she works as one of the actors.

The warehouse has 24 movie-set quality rooms and the staff starts planning a year in advance to make sure the scares go above and beyond. Williams has been spooking people at the warehouse for the past five years.

This year, she is playing the role of a nursing home patient who was pushed a little too far.

And although she loves the job, Williams said the paychecks are a big help around Christmas time.

The warehouse sits near the Illinois River. A few years ago, rising water flooded the building, but it has since been rebuilt and the staff said it is better than ever.

The Warehouse of Fear is located on Chambers Road. They are open every Friday and Saturday night in October from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
