FORT SMITH (KFSM) — A man is in custody after he allegedly shot out a tire from his estranged wife’s vehicle while it was parked outside Harvest Time Academy in Fort Smith on Monday (Oct. 17).
The suspect was taken into custody at a casino across state lines, and he is facing domestic battery charges, said Sgt. Daniel Grubbs of the Fort Smith Police Department.
Police were called to the school shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The school said the scene has since been cleared.
