Fayetteville (KFSM) – Arkansas had been waiting for the breakout performance from Rawleigh Williams III and they finally got just that on Saturday.
The Razorbacks’ sophomore running back rushed for a career high 180 yards and his first career receiving touchdown as Arkansas picked up a 34-30 win over Ole Miss. Williams was named the SEC’s offensive player of the week for the effort.
The touchdown came on an option play but Williams was just in front of quarterback Austin Allen as he received the pitch on the two yard scoring play in the third quarter.
Williams now leads the SEC with 785 yards and is number eight among national leaders. Williams also has 22 rushing attempts that have gained 10 yards or more.
