FORT SMITH (KFSM) – For teens, it’s never too early to get started on your career path. Future School of Fort Smith is giving their students an opportunity on Friday (Oct.21) to meet with workers from area businesses.

Teachers are calling it “speed networking.” They’re hoping students will learn about how to write resumes and land internships. Katie Sanders is a 10th grade student at Future School of Fort Smith. Sanders said she’s excited for this opportunity to learn more about her career path. “We actually get to talk to people in person instead of talking on the phone or going to their website,” said Sanders. She adds, “You can ask them questions personally instead of just typing them out.”

Students will meet with businesses from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. at the Future School of Fort Smith.
