Two Police Officers Shot In Oklahoma

WELLSTON, Okla. (CBS News) — Authorities said two police officers were shot Sunday evening in Lincoln County, CBS affiliate KWTV reported.

About 6:30 p.m., two Wellston police officers were shot while responding to call.

Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the Lincoln County Emergency Management Office said.

Law enforcement officers arrested one of the two suspects thought to be involved in shooting.

The missing suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Michael Vance.

He’s described as a white male, 5’10” in height and weighs about 185 pounds, KWTV reported.

On Twitter, Lincoln County EM asked drivers to aboid the area of Highway 66 and 3310 roads west of Wellston until further notice.
