BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) — Two of the three candidates for Benton County Judge were in the 5NEWS studio on Monday (Oct. 31) to discuss their stance on various policy issues ahead of the Nov. 8 election.

Incumbent Republican candidate Barry Moehring and Libertarian candidate Ronnie Smith joined 5NEWS political correspondent Larry Henry. Jeff Broadston, a write-in candidate, did not attend the forum.

The candidates started the forum discussing medical marijuana.

The candidates also discussed term limits for public officials and moving the court annex away from the downtown area.

Finally, the candidates discussed roads and their plans to keep them maintained.
