Fayetteville Police Search For Armed Bank Robbery Suspect

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Fayetteville Police are searching for a male suspect who robbed the Bank of Ozarks on Friday afternoon (Nov. 4).

The man is described as a Hispanic or light-skinned African American male about 5′ 8″ wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans and carrying a tan, canvas bag, according to a department press release. His face was covered with a gray cloth and he was wearing a black hat or bandanna.

fayetteville-bank-of-ozarks-robbedThe robbery occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at the Bank of Ozark located near the intersection of Crossover Road and Mission Boulevard.

He is reportedly “armed and possibly dangerous,” the release states.

Police are searching for the suspect in the wooded area behind the bank.
