One Student Sent To Hospital After Arkoma School Bus Involved In Accident

ARKOMA (KFSM) — One student was sent to the hospital on Monday afternoon (Nov. 7) after an Arkoma school bus and an SUV collided.

One student was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to John Turner, Arkoma superintendent. The student is expected to be OK.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital. He had to be removed using the jaws of life, according to Rob Seale, LeFlore County Sheriff. However, he was conscious when he was pulled from the vehicle.

The accident occurred along 9A and Cascade Street in Arkoma.
