FORT SMITH (KFSM) — The Fort Smith Police Department is searching for a person of interest after a man attempted to use counterfeit money at a Fort Smith business last month.
A white man tried to pass the fake money in a business in the 6300 block of Rogers Avenue around 9 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 7), according to a department press release. Detectives believe the same counterfeit money has been passed at other business in the area recently.
