Sequoyah County Sheriff Loses Reelection To Larry Lane

SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) — Incumbent Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart, running as a Democrat, lost reelection to his Republican opponent Larry Lane Tuesday (Nov. 8).

Lane got 51 percent of the vote with 7,385 votes to Lockhart’s 49 percent. Lockhart got 6,996 votes.
