BLYTHEVILLE (KTHV) — An inmate who walked away during a work release program has been found near Brookland, just outside of Jonesboro, according to the Arkansas Department of Correction (ADC).
Police say that Clenton Forrister, 32, walked away around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night (Nov. 12).
He was assigned to the Mississippi County Work Release Center in Luxora but walked away from his job site in Blytheville.
Forrister is serving a 20-year sentence for multiple felony convictions which include drug charges and a battery charge. He is listed as a habitual offender by the ADC.
