CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) — A Greenwood man who hit another vehicle head- on is dead and another man is injured following a three-vehicle wreck on Highway 59 Tuesday morning (Nov. 15), according to Arkansas State Police.

About 6:20 a.m. Randall Studyvin, 62, of Greenwood was traveling north along the highway and died after crashing his BMW into a Chevrolet head-on while attempting to pass another car, according to police.

Police said Tracy Barrett, 55, of Van Buren was driving the Chevrolet that was hit by Studyvin. Barrett was taken to Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith for treatment of his injuries.

The impact caused the BMW to spin and hit the third car on the driver’s side. The driver of that car was not injured, according to police.
