Williams III, Skipper Pick Up SEC Honors

Pair of Razorbacks honored the by conference after putting up huge offensive numbers at Mississippi State

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Rawleigh Williams III continues to carry the Arkansas offense and for the third time this season, the Arkansas sophomore was rewarded for it by the conference.

Williams was named the SEC offensive player of the week after rushing for a career high 205 yards a four touchdowns at Mississippi State. This marks the third time this season Williams has collected the award. Only 12 other players have won the award three times in a season in league history.

Dan Skipper helped Williams and the rest of the Arkansas offense rush for 357 yards and he was named the league’s offensive lineman of the week for the effort. It is the third time in Skipper’s career to receive the honor, all of which have come in the last 15 weeks of SEC play. It is also the third award of the season for Skipper as he was named offensive lineman of the week in week 2 and then the special teams player of the week on Oct. 3.
