Clarksville Girl Dead, Boy Injured After ATV Was Struck By SUV

CLARKSVILLE (KFSM) — A juvenile girl from Clarksville is dead, and a juvenile boy, also of Clarksville is injured after the ATV they were riding on was struck by a Dodge Durango in Johnson County, according to Arkansas State Police.

The girl who died was a passenger on the four wheeler. She died at the scene of the incident, police said.

The boy who was driving the four wheeler was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for treatment, according to police.

According to police, the incident happened about shortly after 3 p.m., Saturday on Highway 64 near Stegall Road.

The kids had pulled out of a business parking lot, headed east on the highway and into the path of the Durango, that was also traveling east, according to police. The driver of the Durango was not injured.
