WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) — A Fayetteville man died during a rollover collision off Interstate 49 early Sunday, according to Arkansas State Police.
About 3 a.m. Sunday, Wash J. Whitelaw, 62, was traveling south on I-49. When he was near mile marker 67, he failed to negotiate a curve, and drove his Honda off the interstate toward the right side, and into a wooded area, according to police.
He struck several trees, which caused his car to roll over several times, according to police.
