CLARKSVILLE (KFSM) — An employee with the Clarksville School District has a confirmed case of the mumps, according to superintendent David Hopkins.
Hopkins said the district is working with the Arkansas Department of Health to put into place protocols that have developed to minimize the impact of this positive case. Hopkins could not release any other information about the employee.
Clarksville will be added to Department of Health school list within the next 24 hours.
The district sent out an automated phone call at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 30) alerting parents and staff of the situation.
