Overcast weather is expected all weekend with a gradual increase in showers during the days.

After a morning with a few scattered areas of rain, a steadier rain is likely from Noon into the evening.

8AM SATURDAY: Rain continues to move in from the south as the next system approaches from Texas.

NOON SATURDAY: Rain chances will be solid from Noon into the evening with higher rain totals south of I40 and lesser amounts to the north.

6PM SATURDAY: By sunset on Saturday, light to moderate rain will still likely be falling across the area but coming to a close.

On Sunday, we’ll see cloudy skies with much lower rain chances. Other than a passing sprinkle or shower the next rain chance will arrive on Monday.
