Thursday morning recorded the coldest morning lows since last February with a hard freeze across all of NW Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma.

With calmer winds, the wind chill won't be as bad tonight and tomorrow morning but the temperatures should trend about 5-10º colder than Thursday morning.

Looking ahead, slightly warmer weather is expected this weekend with highs back in the 40s to near 50. It may feel colder than that with the south winds which will give us a wind chill all weekend.

The next chance for rain is Sunday with light rain showers in the forecast .
