FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)–Dan Skipper was named to the American Football Coaches Association FBS Coaches’ All-America Second Team on Wednesday. The senior is one of sixteen players from the SEC on the list.

Skipper was also named First Team All-SEC last week by the AP and coaches. The 6’10” left tackle earned SEC Lineman of the Week twice this fall, along with being the conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week once, after blocking his seventh career kick in a win at TCU.

Skipper anchored a line that paved the way for a 1,326 yard season from sophomore running back Rawleigh Williams and a 601 yard effort from freshman Devwah Whaley.

2016 is the second straight season the AFCA has named one Razorback to its All-America list, after tight end Hunter Henry made the First Team last year.

The Belk Bowl will mark Skipper’s 46th straight start on the offensive line.
