HOUSTON (KFSM)– After building a five-game win streak at home the Razorbacks were seeking a victory outside the comforts of Bud Walton Arena. Arkansas got their chance Saturday, facing Texas in the Lone Star Shootout. The Hogs started off sluggish in the first half, but they came alive in the second to defeat Texas 77-74.

Daryl Macon led the Razorbacks (9-1) offense with 23-points. Dusty Hannahs was not far behind him with 15-points. Macon was perfect on free throw line, making all 14 free throw attempts.

Arkansas’ big man Moses Kingsley was kept silent in the first half, missing his four field goal attempts. Kingsley finally got on the board in the second half, sinking a pair of free throws. Kingsley finished the day with seven total points, but led the team in rebounds (10), and blocks (5).

Arkansas will be back at Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday (December 20th) to face North Dakota State.
