Winter Weather: Snow and Icy Roads Tonight

Snow has started to move through portions of NW Arkansas including Washington and Benton counties.

From the light freezing rain we had earlier, the roads are icy and slick, especially on bridges and overpasses.

The snow will continue until about 10PM, amounting in minor accumulations of 0.5″ to 1″ in NW Arkansas and even lower amounts if any in the River Valley.

After it clears out, it gets COLD overnight.

Here’s a look at temperatures in the teens and single digits tomorrow morning.

Wind chill values will also be even worse, down to -10°.
