GREENWOOD (KFSM) — A semi-truck driver landed himself behind bars after he reportedly drove recklessly, was involved in collision and caused a diesel spill.
According to Greenwood police, the accident happened near Highways 10 and 7 late Monday night (Jan. 16).
Police said the driver of the semi was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor charges. Both drivers were taken to the hospital but there are no major injuries being reported at this time, police said.
The highway was closed while the Greenwood Fire Department worked to clean the spill.
