Record breaking heat continues across the area with temperatures surging into the low and mid 70s.
Record highs have already been set with an additional degree or two possible into the next few hours.
Cooler temperatures are likely tomorrow with highs falling into the 60s; still warm for this time of year.
More record high temperatures remain possible again on Saturday of this upcoming weekend.
