FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- The new Fort Smith Police Chief was sworn in on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 9).
Nathaniel Clark was officially sworn in to office as the police chief at the Fort Smith Convention Center.
"Those who choose to lurk our streets operating contrary to the law, committing criminal activity and praying on our law abiding citizens.. today you will be placed on official notice that it will not be tolerated in the city of Fort Smith," Clark said.
The ceremony was open to the public with refreshments and a reception following the ceremony.
