MOFFETT (KFSM) -- Two suspects were arrested near Moffett, Oklahoma on Monday morning (June 12) after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a search, Moffett Police said.

Officers chased three suspects who were driving a stolen vehicle along Highway 64. Arkansas State Police said the suspects stole a white truck at gun point in Missouri, and there may have been a weapon inside the vehicle.

Witnesses said the individuals drove the truck into a cornfield, which started a fire. The stolen truck had Arizona plates.

One suspect was arrested earlier on Monday morning. However, a man and a woman led officers on a search until their arrests shortly after 1:30 p.m.

After several hours, Oklahoma State Troopers emerged from the woods with the two suspects.

"We got some information that they may be in this wooded area here. So, we got a line of law enforcement officers to walk it out and do a ground search. We got fairly lucky. Went a couple hundred yards in and located the suspects hunkered down beside some trees," said Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain Damon Tucker.

Oklahoma State troopers, Arkansas State Police, Moffett Police and the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office helped in the search. Law enforcement officers had their guns drawn while searching the town of Moffett and nearby cornfields.

Moffett Public School was placed under lockdown during the search.

All three suspects are behind bars at the Sequoyah County Jail.
