Southbound I-49 On-Ramp Reopens In Springdale After Burning Semi Blocks It

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Arkansas State Police have reopened a southbound on-ramp in Springdale after it was shut down briefly on Monday morning (June 26).

A semi-truck blocked the ramp, which is off Sunset Avenue in Springdale, when the front end of the truck caught on fire. the flames are now extinguished.

ASP and the Springdale Fire Department responded to the scene.

The semi was towed from the on-ramp after it was extinguished.
