FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — A Fayetteville couple was arrested on Thursday (July 20) in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery and attempted first-degree murder, according to a press release from Cpl. Dallas Brashears.

Lorenzo Green, 22, is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence. Kayla Rolle, 20, is facing charges of accomplice to attempted first-degree murder, accomplice to aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence.

The department received a call on July 14 of an intoxicated man in the parking lot located behind 339 N. West Avenue. Officers found Brandon Blake, 25, of Oklahoma City lying on the ground. He was suffering severe injuries to his head and face and was partially conscious. Blake was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center where he was treated for multiple fractures to his face and skull. Investigators found that Blake had been beaten on his face and head. He was placed on a ventilator at the hospital and has since had multiple surgeries.

Weapons used during the incident were left at the scene and the victim’s wallet, cell phone and money wre stolen.

During the investigation, police found out via an anonymous source that the robbery had been documented on a cell phone. This included a picture of a male standing over Blake. Detectives identified Green as the suspect in the photo and Rolle as the person who took the photo.

Green and Rolle were arrested and transported to the Fayetteville Police Department for questioning. Both suspects were being held Friday (July 21)  at the Washington County Detention Center on bonds of $250,000.
