11-4 arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)–What was supposed to be an easy win for Arkansas turned into a nightmare, but the Razorbacks fought off Coastal Carolina Saturday to win 39-38.  The Razorbacks improve 4-5 on the year.

After completing their biggest comeback in program history a week ago, Arkansas found themselves in trouble against Coastal Carolina. The Hogs barely were ahead 17-14 at halftime, but the Chanticleers took a big lead in the third quarter, scoring 17 points to lead 31-25 heading into the fourth quarter.

T.J. Hammonds gave the Hogs the late boost they needed, with an 88-yard touchdown run to make it 38-32. Cole Kelly sealed the win with a one-yard touchdown run with under two minutes remaining. Hammonds racked up 179 yards for the Razorbacks in the comeback win.

For the first time this season the Razorbacks have won two consecutive games. Arkansas will travel to Baton Rogue next to face LSU November 11, at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN.
