TULSA, Okla. (KFSM) — The Tulsa Police Department have called off an Amber Alert for two children. They have found both victims and they are in protective custody.
The children went missing following a shooting that stemmed from a family dispute, reports 5NEWS CBS affiliate News9 out of Oklahoma City.
Jace Jordan, 9, and Andi Jordan, who is 20-months-old, were missing.
Jason Myers Jordan, 40, whose relation to the children is unknown at this time, is suspected to have taken the children, according to police.
Police say Jordan is described as a white male last seen wearing a green and white shirt with blue jeans, was at a residence in Tulsa Wednesday when there was a dispute with another family member. The suspect reportedly shot the family member twice.
Jordan fled in a tan or champagne colored 2005 4-door Acura TSX with “very dark” tinted windows.
Thursday night, police said they found that vehicle, however, it was empty.
Tulsa police are now looking for a black 4-door 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Oklahoma tag EUC433.
