FORT SMITH (KFSM) — A woman accused of permitting child abuse in a separate case has been arrested on a warrant — and so has her aunt — after nearly a half-month search.
Sierra Johnson, 20, of Fort Smith was arrested Tuesday (Feb. 27) in the 4300 block of Kinkead Avenue on a felony warrant for petition to revoke a bond. A warrant was issued for Johnson’s arrest Feb. 15.
Her aunt Kathleen Thomas is accused of felony hindering apprehension.
In a separate case, Johnson is accused of permitting child abuse after her daughter died Jan. 30 after being taken to Sparks Regional Medical Center. Tyree La’Mont Williams, who was the live-in boyfriend, was arrested Jan. 31 and is facing first-degree murder charges in connection with the child’s death.
The two are in the Sebastian County Detention Center without bond.
