Fewer Americans are filling their opioid prescriptions

New data shows an almost 9% drop nationwide in the number of opioids filled in 2017.

There was an even greater drop in the total dosage of opioid prescriptions filled last year, that was down 12%.

The report also found drug prices are growing more slowly and that your out-of-pocket costs have declined by 17%.
