Vegetarian Diet Can Save You Money

Getting healthier may be less expensive than you think.

A new study out of Europe said you can put together a vegetarian meal plan for just over 15 dollars per day. That's $2 less than the Mediterranean diet, which also relies heavily on fruits and vegetables.

Adding fish boosts that diet up to around $17 a day.

Experts said only about 5% of Americans follows a vegetarian diet.
