A complex of storms which causes severe flooding in Oklahoma City earlier today has push an outflow boundary into NW Arkansas and the Greater Fort Smith area with scattered storms developing with daytime heating.

For the rest of the evening, scattered showers will be possible combined with a chance localized heavy rain and a few gusty winds. Rain cooled air is likely and a few spots will be in the low 70s into the evening.

Storms are expected to rapidly diminish with the loss of daytime heating after sunset.
