FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - Officers arrested a man who fired off multiple gunshots on Dickson Street Thursday (July 26) evening, according to Sgt. Anthony Murphy.
Fayetteville police on the scene said a man drove by JJ's Bar & Grill and fired several shots out of the window, and then continued driving.
Employess at JJ's forced the suspect out of the store before the shooting because of a disturbance inside the restaurant.
The suspect was then spotted getting into a white Mercedes that then drove the wrong way down the road.
That's when one employee called police to report the incident. On their way to the scene officers heard reports of shots fired.
An eyewitness at the scene said the shots fired came from the white Mercedes.
No one was injured during the shooting.
The man was arrested on charges of discharging a firearm from a moving vehicle and possession of a firearm by certain persons. His name has not been released.
