FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Fort Smith police have identified Quentin Douglas, 21, as the suspect involved in a convenience store robbery on Park Ave. in Fort Smith.
Detectives made contact with Douglas at his residence and he accompanied them to the Fort Smith Police Department, according to a Facebook post put out by the department.
Following an interview with Douglas he was arrested and taken to the Sebastian County Jail where he was charged with one count of aggravated robbery with a firearm.
Fort Smith police said Douglas entered the store on Park Ave. at about 11 p.m. on Aug. 1 with a duffel bag, and demanded money while threatening the clerk with a weapon.
