SILOAM SPRINGS (KFSM) — A homeless man is in Benton County jail after a stand-off  with Siloam Springs police and deputies from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).

Several calls by witnesses were received just before midnight Friday (Aug. 31) that a man had threatened people with a handgun at a Walmart parking lot, according to Siloam Springs Police Captain Derek Spicer.

Police later identified the suspect as 22-year-old Bradley William Denison.

When police arrived at the scene Denison took off in his car.

Siloam Springs police later found the car with Denison inside at another parking lot near a hospital.

BCSO deputies arrived as backup and assisted in arresting the man after an hour-long standoff.

Denison is charged with felony terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.  He’s held on no bond and has an October 8th court date.
