ROGERS (KFSM) — Rogers police have made an arrest in a homicide that happened at a home on 53 Alton Circle on Tuesday (Sep. 25).
On Friday (Sep. 28) 53-year-old Don Paul Yates of Rogers was arrested for capital murder.
According to police, Yates and the victim knew each other, and he was developed as a suspect early on in the investigation.
Police say Yates was located and arrested in Fulton County, Arkansas.
Yates will be transported back to Rogers where he will be interviewed and booked into the Benton County Jail pending a bond hearing.
The identity of the victim has still not been released by police.

ROGERS (KFSM) -- Rogers police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead in his home Tuesday (Sept. 25) afternoon.
Officers were doing a welfare check at about 1 p.m. at 53 Alton Circle when they found the man, according to Keith Foster, Rogers police spokesman.
The man's body has been sent to the state Crime Lab in Little Rock to confirm his identity.
The incident is under investigation, no further details were immediately available, Foster said.
