FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — UPDATE: Troopers found 23-year-old Dustin Jordan on Tuesday (Oct. 9) night not far from Oklahoma City.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide that took place Monday afternoon (Oct. 8).

The murders took place in southern Franklin County near the Etna community on Compressor Road, where Kathy Jordan, 53, and her husband, Michael Jordan, 56, were found dead in their living room.

According to Chief Deputy Jeff Wood, an officer responded to a home for a welfare check Monday afternoon and spotted a bullet hole in one of the windows.

Wood said the sheriff's office obtained a search warrant and began working the crime scene Monday evening.

The couple's son, 23-year-old Dustin Jordan, is considered a person of interest in the double homicide, Wood told 5NEWS.

Wood said the couple also had a daughter in Texas.

Investigators are searching for a white Ford pickup with the license plate 009 UYK.

Wood told 5NEWS Dustin is considered armed and dangerous, but he believes the south Franklin County community is safe.

"It's my belief that this is an isolated incident," Wood said. "I don't believe the public and the local neighborhood area here is at risk of him doing harm to anybody else."
