SILOAM SPRINGS (KFSM) -- Authorities have arrested a felony fugitive from Wisconsin, who has been evading arrest for ten years, that was living in Siloam Springs on Wednesday (Dec. 5).

Detectives were able to identify Kevin Childers aka "Robert Rotondo." He often works out and trains clients as a personal trainer at the Walton Lifetime Fitness Center on the JBU campus. He is not employed by the university.

Childers has an outstanding warrant stemming from Battery of a Law Enforcement Officer.

Detectives were able to make contact with Childers and take him into custody without incident. His prior criminal convictions consist of Armed Robbery, Battery of a Law Enforcement Officer, Escape Criminal Arrest, Habitual Criminality, and Identity Fraud.

Yoom Kim, who works out at the same gym as Childers, says he was surprised that a wanted felon was hiding out in plain sight right here in NWA.

"I guess it's pretty wild what you can do these days. You can live under a different alias...I don't know, live in a different town and be someone else and start a new life. But, I guess your past catches up with you to some extent," Kim told 5NEWS.

Childers is currently being held without bond at the Benton County Jail.
