FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.—A Washington County jailer has been arrested after eight months on the job for providing a phone and batteries to an inmate.
Detention Officer Dylan Simpson of Canehill was arrested following a bunk search at the Washington County Detention Center. According to the Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page, an intense investigation began soon after.
Simpson was arrested Friday (January 4) evening. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
