JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas Department of Health says another case of hepatitis A has been found in northeast Arkansas.

The department said Thursday that an employee of Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Jonesboro tested positive for the virus.

Health officials say anyone who ate at the restaurant on Dec. 22 or Dec. 23 should seek medical care if they develop symptoms such as fever, nausea, fatigue and jaundice.

Vaccination within two weeks of exposure to the virus may prevent infection. However, the department says it didn't learn of the exposure until after the two-week interval elapsed, so no vaccination clinic is scheduled.

The department reports 250 cases of hepatitis A statewide in the past 11 months, including two deaths. Most cases have been in Greene, Craighead, and Clay counties in the northeastern corner of the state.
